Siltex Silt Fences

Siltex Silt Fences are designed specifically to reduce sediment runoff that can contaminate lakes, rivers, creeks, streams and other sensitive areas. They function in a manner similar to a sedimentation pond in which water is allowed to filter through the fabric, while suspended soil particles settle to the ground.

Siltex Silt Fences are made with a high quality UV stabilized woven geotextile, which has been securely attached to 2” x 2” wooden support posts, which come from a renewable source of softwood. They are made with a ‘state of the art’ fully automated process to ensure the highest possible quality and manufactured here in our facility in Canada.

Siltex Wire Backed Silt Fence (SX-3636W)

Where a more substantial silt fence is required.

Siltex Wire Backed Silt Fence is made with a galvanized wire fence covered with a woven silt fence fabric.

The use of Metal Tee Bar Posts that support the fence can be installed at different intervals, depending on site conditions.
