Delta Green Roof Systems



DELTA®-Green Roof System provides various products, DELTA®-Floraxx, DELTA®-Root Barrier and DELTA®-Biotop that are specifically designed for Green Roofs.







Delta®-Floraxx



DELTA®-FLORAXX is a perforated drainage board specifically designed for use in garden roof assemblies. The product features large, 20 mm high dimples with and octagon shape for outstanding compressive strength. Due to its high water retention capacity and its ability to effectively drain away surplus water this special membrane is ideal for use in extensive or intensive rooftop gardens.
DELTA®-FLORAXX is made from 60% recycled HDPE and 40% virgin HDPE.



DELTA®-FLORAXX is a studded membrane made of special, high-density polyethylene. Drains surplus water effectively through large perforations between the 20 mm high octagon-shape dimples. This environmentally friendly product is rot-proof in contact with soil.


DELTA®-FLORAXX retains rainwater in its high capacity dimples - an important safety factor for the plants on any garden roof. Any surplus-water can effectively drain away through the perforations and the open channel system under the dimple sheet.



DELTA®-FLORAXX is easily installed on top of a root-proof waterproofing system.

Delta®-Biotop


DELTA®-BIOTOP is a filter fabric designed for use with the DELTA® Garden Roof System. DELTA®-BIOTOP helps prevent the growing medium from washing away and clogging the drainage capability of DELTA®-FLORAXX. In addition, DELTA®-BIOTOP supports the growing medium, enhancing the water-retention capacity of DELTA®-FLORAXX. It is root and rot resistant.





DELTA®-BIOTOP is a non-woven polypropylene filter fabric. Specially designed to provide stability to growing media and prevent it being washed away and clogging drainage . This environmentally friendly product is non-toxic and rot-proof in contact with growing media .






DELTA®-BIOTOP is installed over DELTA®-FLORAXX as part of the DELTA® Garden Roof System. Lay it over top prior to placing growing medium or ballast and overlap a minimum of 30 cm (1 foot). It comes in large widths to minimize overlaps and improve application efficiency. DELTA®-BIOTOP will provide a filter layer that will allow the free flow of water without washing away growing medium.

Delta®-Root Barrier


DELTA®-Root Barrier is a flat PE sheet specially stabilized for long term durability and strength. It comes in large rolls to minimize overlaps and maximize production. DELTA®-ROOT BARRIER is ideal for protecting primary waterproofing membranes in a garden roof application. It allows free drainage and is impact resistant.


DELTA®-ROOT BARRIER is a special 15 mil (380 µm) stabilized polyethylene design to be strong, tear-resistant, and root-resistant. Its superior strength is designed to protect the waterproofing membrane from aggressive plant roots. It will not absorb water and is non-toxic.


DELTA®-ROOT BARRIER is easy to apply and comes in extra wide rolls to minimize overlaps and application time. Simply roll it out and unfold it over the waterproofing membrane. DELTA®-ROOT BARRIER will act as a protection course and will not absorb water.
